Big things are happening in Jamaica—and if you love Sandals Resorts, this is the kind of update worth getting excited about.

Following the impact of Hurricane Melissa last fall, three of Sandals’ properties—Sandals South Coast, Sandals Montego Bay, and Sandals Royal Caribbean—temporarily closed their doors for repairs.

At first, the goal was simple: restore and reopen as quickly as possible. Sandals Resorts reopening dates were originally set for May 31, 2026, at all three resorts. Guests were excited and anticipated returning to these beautiful properties this summer.

Sandals South Coast → November 18, 2026
Sandals Montego Bay → December 18, 2026
Sandals Royal Caribbean → December 18, 2026

These dates mark the beginning of a brand-new era for these properties—one that promises to exceed expectations in every way.

To note: All other Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts properties in the brand are fully operational and welcoming guests, as usual. Guests with travel dates impacted by the extension of the closures are being accommodated in a similar category at any property of their choice, for no extra cost, or they are being offered the ability to cancel for a refund of the room rate.
