In a move many travelers have been requesting for years, Sandals Resorts is introducing its first-ever accommodations featuring two queen beds!
Coming soon to Sandals South Coast, the new Silver Sun Beachfront Club Two Queen Junior Suite (IQQ)Â will offer couples a new level of comfort and flexibility while still maintaining the adults-only, couples-focused experience Sandals is known for.
What Makes This Different?
While it may seem like a simple update, this addition reflects Sandals' ongoing commitment to evolving with the needs of today's couples.
Unlike the two-queen accommodations available at Beaches Resorts, these new suites at Sandals will still accommodate a maximum of two adults per room. Sandals Resorts is committed to remaining adults only with their focus on catering to couples.
This change focuses on:
Couples who simply prefer sleeping separately can enjoy the Sandals experience without sacrificing comfort.
Friends and family traveling together, attending destination weddings, or group celebrations can share a room without having to share a bed.
Guests with different sleep preferences now have another option when choosing their accommodations.
Where Can You Find These Suites?
For now, the Silver Sun Beachfront Club Two Queen Junior Suite (IQQ)Â is being introduced exclusively at Sandals South Coast.
Could this be the beginning of more flexible room options across the Sandals brand? Only time will tell. Sandals has not officially indicated if additional resorts could see similar accommodations in the future, but I expect this is being rolled out as a trial and further expansion will depend on guest feedback and demand.
