Confession time - I am a Christmastime-loving mom of three and we don't have an Elf on the Shelf. 🫣
Every year I drag my family to the town Christmas parade and the ceremonial tree lighting downtown. We drive around looking at Christmas lights. We drink hot chocolate while decorating the tree and dancing to our favorite festive tunes. But the one thing missing each season is an Elf.
All my mom friends are shocked -- and some even envious-- that I haven't caved yet. It's not that I don't love the idea. It's adorable! It just was one of those non-essential things I kept saying I'd get around to doing, and it never happened.
